The 5k will begin at 7:30am and the 1 mile will begin at 8:30am on June 22, 2023. Both races will be held at the Wellington Humane Society, 203 W Hillside. Course will be a mix of road, gravel, and sidewalk. Drawstring bags will be guaranteed to those who pre-register by 12:00pm (noon) on May 22nd. Packets can be picked up at the Wellington Humane Society on Thursday, June 20th from 3-7pm, Friday, June 21st from 3-7pm, or on race day beginning at 6:30am. Finisher medals will be awarded to all participants and trophies will be given to the top male and top female in the 5k. Post-race refreshments will be provided for both races and there will be 1 aid station at the halfway point for the 5k. 

 

Dogs are welcome to join but must be up to date on vaccinations, non-aggressive, and leashed at all times.

The virtual option allows you to participate if you can't make it to the race. Virtual participants will have from May 22nd to June 22nd to run/walk and submit times. Virtual participants are not eligible for overall awards. Packets will be shipped no later than June 30th.
